As people, we often lie to ourselves. We look and the mirror in the morning and think, "That's not too bad." We come down with a sickness and say, "I'm OK. I don't really need to go the to doctor." We can fool ourselves by telling ourselves that we are better than we really are. One lie that many people tell themselves is this: "I want to do something great for God." That's not to say that they don't believe the truth of the statement. But, rather, they don't really want to do what it would take to do something great for God. In our message today, we look at someone who does something great for God. Through his life, we'll find instruction for how we can truly do something great for God.
