Each year in America we celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December – a day that we set aside to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the babe in Bethlehem. Stores close. Businesses are open. People travel long distances to be with family and friends over the holidays. Christmas even provides a few days off for those who reject the worship due to Christ. Yet, as a society, we find that many try to push Christ out of Christmas. There seems to many to be a “War on Christmas.” Governments deal with lawsuits. School programs remove Christ out of all programs and construct Christmas as a secularized, materialistic and humanistic “holiday.” Yet, Christmas is truly about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
