AWANA TOY DRIVE
AWANA will be having a toy drive in preparation for its last store night for the school year. You can bring donations to the table located in the lobby by today. We need small dollar tree items, and items $1-$15. If you have any questions, please see Ben Worsham.
MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST
Men, don’t forget about our Men’s Prayer Breakfast coming up this Saturday at 8am. We hope you’ll make plans to attend, here in the Fellowship Hall!
ICA WORK DAY: LED LIGHT PROJECT
We will be having an ICA LED Light Project Work Day Saturday, May 4 from 9am-12pm to finish switching light fixtures to LED in the school classrooms. Any help with this project would be appreciated and a blessing to our school, students, and teachers. Also, if you are coming to help and have the following tools, please plan to bring them with you: wire strippers, wire cutters, and medium-sized channel locks. If you have any questions, please see Robert Tucker.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK DONATIONS
We have an opportunity for our church to be an encouragement and outreach to our community school teachers. With teacher appreciation week approaching, we would like to provide a table of goodies in our local public school teacher lounges. We will need the following items: prepackaged snacks like Little Debbie’s, granola bars, fruit snacks, fruit, nuts, coffee drinks, fruit juice, and Gatorade. Please bring donations to the table in the church lobby by Sunday, May 5.
LADIES BANQUET
Our Ladies Banquet is coming up on Saturday, May 11th at 12:00pm. We are excited for this time of fellowship, a delicious meal, and time together around the Word of God. The speaker for the event will be Joy Lewis and we look forward to hearing what God has laid on her heart. TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH
As Teacher Appreciation week approaches, we would like to invite teachers and their families to a lunch here at Grace as a thank you for all you do in shaping the next generation. The lunch will be in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the morning worship service Sunday, May 5. ICA JOG-A-THON
ICA's annual jog-a-thon is coming up on Friday, May 3. A portion of the proceeds will go towards a new ICA Playground, providing our students with a safe and enjoyable space to play. Also, 25% of all money raised will be donated to help with a few projects that would benefit the people of Togo, Africa! The Justison family, who have been part of our church during their furlough, are missionaries to Africa. As they prepare to return to Togo this summer to continue their important work, we want to support them in their mission of spreading love, compassion and most importantly the gospel to those in need. Donations will help pay for:

New soccer field for Togolese Christian School in Africa
FIRST CHOICE: WALK FOR LIFE
Help us raise funds for the First Choice for Women ministry as they serve women and families in need throughout our community. You can join us in person for the walk on Saturday, May 18, at 10am at Mounds State Park. Here is how it will work:
Step #1: Register as a participant for the event

Step #2: Find friends & family to sponsor your walk with pledge contribution dollars
Step #3: On Saturday, May 18, walk 1 mile for life on your own (or with your crew) anywhere you'd like, OR join us in person for the event at Mounds State Park at 10am on Saturday, May 18
Step #4: To show your participation, snap a selfie or short cell phone video of you and/or your crew walking for life! Post your photo/video to Facebook/Instagram with the #walk4life and tag @firstchoiceforwomen!

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES: RUTH & ROMANS PART 2
We are excited for the Ladies Precept Bible Studies coming up in this summer and fall! Both studies will have several opportunities to meet in person or online and will meet every other week. AWANA GRAND PRIX PINEWOOD DERBY
We are looking forward to a fun night at Awana on May 19 in the GBC Auditorium. We will not have our regular evening service so that we as a church body can better reach out to the parents and children attending this event. SUMMER CAMP: ELEMENTARY & TEENS
Summer will be here before we know and with that comes some exciting opportunities such as camp. Going to camp can have a great spiritual impact on our children. This summer we are going to Camp Cobeac July 22-26.
You will want to register as soon as you know your plans so your child has a spot reserved. The cost for camp is $279 which could decrease if you have more than one child attending and/or have a teen going to camp. Cobeac provides a sibling discount of $50 off after the first registration. Also, teens that serve during the Summer Family Nights will get a scholarship.

WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING AT ANDERSON POLICE STATION
A weekly prayer meeting is held each Monday to pray for our law enforcement, first responders, and government officials. If you are interested, you can meet at the alcove outside the Anderson Police station on Mondays at 8:00am.
SENIOR ADULTS CONFERENCE AT THE WILDS
We are excited about another upcoming Senior Adults Conference(55+) at The Wilds this Fall. You'll be sure to enjoy some relaxation, sight-seeing and Bible teaching together from Pastor Mike Reid, Senior Pastor of Temple Baptist Church of Fredericksburg, Virginia. REGISTER FOR FALL SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE AT THE WILDS
HELP NEEDED: TURN AWAY NO LONGER MINISTRIES
Turn Away No Longer (TANL) is a nonprofit organization in Madison County helping children in need. TANL provides Swag Packs to children entering foster care through their Care4Kidz program.
Swag Packs are new bags/backpacks stuffed with new items the children need and can use, along with an encouraging note to tell a child, "you do matter, we care about you, God loves you and He has a plan for your life". TANL works with Benchmark Family Services, Kids Peace Indiana Foster Care, and the Dept. of Child Services at the state and local levels.
Swag Packs give children a bit of comfort in having something of their very own they can take with them to their next destination. Grace Baptist Church is a Drop Zone for donations and wants to fully support these efforts to make a difference in children's lives.
