COUPLE’S GAME NIGHT

 Couple’s Game Night

Thanks for signing up to come to the Couple’s Game Night! Here’s some quick information for the evening:

What to Expect

Arrival: We're planning on having the meal around 5p. Try to be a bit early if you're bringing in food so we can get everything set up and ready.

Meal: The church will be providing the pizza and each couple will bring a side / dessert. We'll serve the meal buffet style. The kids will stay with their parents for the meal (as it would be a bit crazy for the workers to try to feed all of the littles at the same time).

Game Time: Around 5:30p (or once the meal is wrapping up), the childcare workers will take the kids out. The smaller children (0-4 years-old) will go to the nursery rooms and the bigger children (5+ years-old) will go to the gymnasium for a play time. Towards the end of the evening, we’ll have an age-appropriate movie time.

For the adults, we’ll play a group game together until ~6:00p and then we can break off for smaller group games. You don't have to stick together as a couple for the smaller group games (unless you want to of course). For the smaller group games, please bring some of our favorites. Keep in mind, the workers are planning to bring the kids back at 7:30p. We don't want them to be stuck with kids until midnight. :-) So, a 5-hour game of Monopoly might not work.

Love Offering for Child Care: At this point, we have sixteen couples signed up for a total of 29 children! We’d like to say “Thank You” to those who are volunteering a portion of their Saturday to watch the children. We’ll put a “tip jar” out during the game time. If you’d like to and are able, considering giving $10-$20 as a thank you to our childcare workers. Please don’t feel pressured to give – we’d rather you just come!
